The Benefits of Ceylon Cinnamon

There are many different cultivars of cinnamon that exist but the one cinnamon that is considered  the โ€œtrue cinnamonโ€ is from Ceylon, Sri Lanka.  Ceylon cinnamon has a distinct sweetness and is a wonderful aromatic SPICE.  The wonderful benefits of cinnamon may have anti-oxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and antiseptic properties.  It can help with digestion, reduce flatulence and can also be used as a natural food preservative.  Studies have shown it can reduce blood sugar levels which is great for those with diabetes.
